James H Flack
Has been painting since his early childhood. At the age of ten his paintings were chosen for display in a children’s exhibition that was a feature of the 1951 Festival of Britain. Has been painting fulltime and teaching art for many years. For him watercolour lends itself more readily than other media to capturing the atmospheric, ever-changing aspect of the Irish scene. Natural history has been a lifelong interest and he has devoted considerable time to the study of trees, plants, flowers and bird life. Has exhibited widely.
