Tina Reed has 20 years experience as an artist, covering various disciplines. She started out in the fashion business, with a degree from Leeds University, England in textile-design. Having worked for several years as a free-lance print designer, Tina travelled to the US & spent 5 years in the San Francisco area, painting murals, & so called ‘faux’ marble & wood effects.

Tina then spent 5 years in London’s West End, back in the rag-trade, before coming over to Killarney in 2000. She carried out commissioned pieces both privately and for some of the larger hotels & guesthouses, whilst running art & craft, and oil-painting classes locally.

Oil painting has now become the focus of Tina’s working life. She draws inspiration from the beautiful Killarney National Park which surrounds her Ross Road home and studio.
