Coming from an interior design background‚ Bowen graduated from with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Ulster‚ Belfast in 1994. Bowens paintings are widely collected and since 1991 have been presented in many group and solo exhibitions throughout Ireland and abroad.

Her work is painterly and displays no pretensions‚ Christine rarely fails to supprise.
