Helene Brunicardi is particularly interested in painting light and its effect on landscape. Using light and strong colours she portrays the key ingredients of the Killarney landscape - lake, mountain and woodland. She particularly likes to paint the great colours and vitality of Spring - bluebells, the purple rhododendron, the lime green freshness of the new leaf canopy of a Spring woodland. As well all of the browns and yellows of an Autumn woodland.
