A very fine miniaturist specialising in meticulously painted landscapes. A native of Holland he came to live in West Cork in 1977 and moved to Killarney in 1991. He finds the Irish landscape and quality of light a magnificent inspiration for his work. Has exhibited in Cork, Dublin, Killarney and Galway. He and four American Miniature Art Societies. He has had very successful exhibitions of miniature and large paintings at the Frank Lewis Gallery in 1991 and in 1994.
