Studied in Dundalk Technical College and with Belfast painter Hugh McCormick. Followed a career in design and marketing. Moved to South Australia with his family in 1973. Exhibiting since 1990. Has had a number of international exhibitions including ‘sell out’ shows in Ireland. Jim Kinch has developed a strong impressionist style which has evolved into colourful figurative expressionist paintings.
