John Behan is a member of the RHA and Aosdana. He is a founder member of the Project Arts Centre and Member of the Arts Council (1973 - 80). Behan has exhibited throughout Ireland, in New York, Sydney and Malta. His commissions have included 'Táin Panel', Gresham Hotel; I.P.A. wall panel; 'Birds' for Irish Life Centre, Dublin; Celtic Panel Insurance Corporation of Ireland; 'Megalithic Memory' AIB Bank Centre, Dublin; 'Turfcutter', Bord na Móna HQ, Dublin and Moment of Flight', GPA, Ennis.
